Phase 2 consists of 21 newly built properties, 11 of which are three beds. Entry dates for successful applicants will be around the end of September 2019.
These properties are newly built in connection with RDR Ltd and East Lothian Council. All applications will be checked against the strict criteria set and forwarded to East Lothian Council for consideration. Please see criteria at bottom of advert.
The property consists of a living room to the front leading through to a large fully fitted kitchen with included fridge/freezer. The kitchen has been fitted to a high spec with a modern feel to include ample floor and wall units to maximise storage space. The kitchen has patio doors leading out into the turfed back yard which helps flood light into the already spacious area. In the allocation of mid market rent housing priority will be given to applicants who fulfill the following criteria:
? Applicants must have sufficient income to allow them to pay rent without the need to apply for Housing Benefit.
? Meet income criteria – Applicants should normally have a regular income of at least £20,200 per year per household with net incomes not normally higher than £25,000 per year for a 2 bed property. At least £25,000 to £33,000 for a 3 bed property.
. You have a local connection to the Dunbar housing area (Dunbar housing area is defined as per East Lothian Councils Dunbar lettings area) A local connection consists of those applicants who currently live or work within the Dunbar housing area or have immediate family in the Dunbar area.
? The property must be appropriate for the household size. (Properties should be allocated according to the occupancy levels detailed in the Council’s allocations policy for example a couple with 1 child would be eligible for a 2 bed property)
? The property must be occupied as the households’ sole and principle home.
? Applicants who don’t have a regular income, but have access to other funds will be considered.
? Applicants will be required to provide satisfactory references and have a good credit record.
Both the 2 and 3 bedroom properties are Council Tax Band D
